Please note that this notice applies only to retail individual customers. If you are already an Accredited Investor or a corporate/institutional customer, no action is required and you may disregard this notice.
Date: 1 July 2026
Dear Valued Customer,
Coinut is updating its service model to focus on serving institutional, corporate and Accredited Investor customers. As a result, Coinut will no longer provide services to retail individual customers.
Accordingly, Coinut has ceased opening accounts for new retail individual customers. Existing retail individual customers will no longer have access to services other than to facilitate the liquidation and withdrawal of their existing holdings during the Transition Period.
Transition Period (1 July 2026 – 31 August 2026)
During the Transition Period, you are required to take one of the following actions:
Option 1 – Apply to be Treated as an Accredited Investor
If you are eligible to be treated as an Accredited Investor, you may apply to be treated as an Accredited Investor by completing the required declarations and providing any supporting documentation requested by Coinut no later than 31 August 2026 here. Customers who successfully satisfy Coinut's Accredited Investor eligibility, verification and opt-in requirements may continue to receive the services made available to Accredited Investors.
Option 2 – Liquidate or Withdraw Your Assets and Close Your Account
If you do not qualify, or do not wish to be treated as an Accredited Investor, you should either:
- withdraw your existing DPT holdings to an external wallet; or
- sell your DPT holdings and withdraw the resulting fiat proceeds,
and complete all required withdrawal procedures by 31 August 2026.
Withdrawal requests remain subject to Coinut's review and verification procedures, including applicable AML/CFT, sanctions, transaction monitoring, fraud prevention and other risk management controls. Coinut may request additional information or supporting documentation before processing a withdrawal where required under its internal policies or applicable laws.
After 31 August 2026
If you have not completed either of the above options by 31 August 2026, your account will be suspended, and you will no longer have access to Coinut's ordinary trading services.
Where you continue to hold a residual DPT balance after the Transition Period, you may contact Coinut for assistance in withdrawing or liquidating your remaining balance. Coinut may provide restricted account access solely for the purpose of facilitating the withdrawal or liquidation of your remaining DPT balance.
Any remaining balances held by Coinut will continue to be maintained in accordance with Coinut's applicable custody, safeguarding, record-keeping, AML/CFT and sanctions compliance obligations until such balances are withdrawn or otherwise dealt with in accordance with applicable laws.
If you have any questions regarding this notice or or require assistance with liquidating your DPT holdings, please contact us at [email protected].
We thank you for your continued support.
